I never thought the day would come when Lilly would want to use a spoon! I have been giving her spoons and forks with just about every meal for months now and all she did was hold it in one hand and eat with the other! She now asks for a spoon or fork with every meal even “sammiches”! Of course she still needs some dexterity work but that is to be expected! So here’s my big 21 month old eating yogurt with a spoon!

Oh so Girly
Here are a few pictures that i have captured over the last month of Lilly being super girly! She loves to play “Princess” and wear her tutus around the house, as well as her pretty princess shoes!
Decisions, Decisions
Little Piggy Feet
Cheering on the Saints, this tutu brought us luck last year. There’s always next year I guess.
Oh so cute!
Yes I know she doesn’t match, that is a red diaper, purple white stripped leg warmers and pink heels. She didn’t want to wear pants :)
She has started to ask me, “Wear tutu?” How can you say no to that?? I see some trips to the grocery store in a tutu in our near future.
Oh my she’s going to be a big sister soon!
What on earth will I do with 2 little girls?
Yes I found her playing in her room with this get up on! Flower head band, sunglasses and mardi gra beads!
She was pointing at the camera saying, “say cheese”
Such a little ham!
**I’m going to plug my own business here, Lilly is wearing shirts and tutus that I made for her. If you are interested check out my facebook page (you don’t have to be on facebook to check it out) or my blog.**

The big reveal
Ok so after almost a month of name suggesting from near and far our Demo Deux has a name!! We had another ultrasound last Thursday, confirming that she really is a she! Ok without further ado, I’ll let my new embroidery machine tell you her name!
We decided to stick with all family names on this one. Mike’s middle name is Ray, his mom’s middle name is Lynn and his grandma’s middle name is Grace. I think this baby is going to have some strong Knoublauch genes! Lilly already calls her “baby Rae” so it looks like she already has a nickname. Baby Raelynn is already so much different than her big sister. I barely felt Lilly move in my tummy and this one is a little wiggle worm, I started to feel the “flutters” around 12 weeks and then around 15 weeks I was getting full on karate chops! She has now taken a liking to kicking me right under my right ribs, I almost depend on her doing the can-can under my ribs as soon as I sit down every time! I only hope that Raelynn takes after her big sister’s sleeping habits! She can be a mover and a shaker during the day, but please baby sleep at night!!
Here are a few picture of baby Raelynn’s room in the making.
Before
We decided to go with pink and brown.
Here is her crib, sans mattress. We decided to keep the bed in there until next summer, since she will be sleeping in our room for a while anyways and we are depending on having some house guests to help us out after she gets here. I hope nobody minds sleeping in the nursery!
Christmas Celebration
Christmas 2010 was a success!! And I believe we have started a new tradition, last year we had our Christmas celebration here in LaPlace with both Mike and my parents, and this year we decided to do the same. It is so much easier to have Lilly at home and not haul a ton of presents all of the state of Louisiana. This is where I should thank Mike’s parents for driving all the way out here and hauling their presents to us…THANK YOU! As long as the parents are willing to travel every year I think this may become our normal holiday routine. We started out the day as a family of 3.5 opening our presents..
Remember the last post about my new camera, I stayed up late to play with it and Lilly’s presents on Christmas Eve.
Here is Lilly admiring her new baby doll high chair and stroller, she’s a little mommy in the making!
Daddy and Lilly opening some “No more monkeys jumping on the bed” stickers for her wall!
She really enjoyed her Froggie Pillow pet
Momma made it into one picture. Lilly really didn’t get unwrapping presents, but she is an expert at pulling things out of gift bags!
Lilly and her new princess camera.
Here is the .5 part! 24 weeks preggo!
After lunch we cleaned up the house, put Lilly down for a nap (which ended up being a long talking session with Tigger in her crib) and enjoyed some adult conversation and appetizers with our parents (Lilly was made herself known via the baby monitor the entire time). Then Lilly “woke up” and we started the long long process of opening presents! Followed by the best dinner ever.
She would not sit still
Entice her with a ribbon and she’ll sit pretty for a picture or two
Our growing family
Gotta love Mike for putting up with tons of pictuers
The attention can’t be away from Lilly for too long, she was pulling tissue paper out of every gift bag she could find!
Take a look at her new princess dress up shoes
Lilly and Momma made Amaw a 3-D foot print
Oh and Look Mimi got one too!
My pretty baby girl! She’ll always be my baby!
I’m still amazed at how much my baby has grown in a year!
